How to prepare your plaques for the award ceremony

It is important to know the names of the people in the photos during the award ceremony so you can present each participant their award plaque when they are called up.  We have found the best way to do this is to write the names of each participant and boat captain on the plastic sleeve of each plaque.  In order to know the names in each photo, we recommend taking two pictures of each child/boat captain.  The first picture should be showing a dry erase board (or paper) with a number written on it.  The second picture is the real one, and the dry erase board is not in the photo.

It is recommended that your photographer have an assistant with a clipboard to record the full names associated with each number.  Write the names of those in the picture on the plastic sleeve of plaque when the pictures are inserted in the plaques.  This tasks needs to be completed prior to the awards ceremony.
