Donations (monetary and in-kind) from local community members or businesses are vital to a thriving C.A.S.T. for Kids event. The strength of the event grows as the community involvement and support increases. Our goal is to establish long-standing, annual fishing events for kids with special needs around the country. A strong local community financial and volunteer base helps makes this possible.
Sponsor Logos
As you acquire sponsors, be sure to get a logo to put on the back of your event t-shirts. All sponsor logos are due to your Regional Director via email 6 weeks prior to your event. Sponsors must donate at least $300 to be placed on event t-shirt. See Event Sponsorship Package and Event Fundraising Form to determine where the logo will be advertised.
The file format of the logo should be a Vector format file or 300 DPI jpeg file.

Dear [NAME],
Kids with special needs face tremendous ongoing challenges and medical expenses. Families caring for these special kids are often taxed physically, emotionally and financially.
C.A.S.T. for Kids offers a day event where every child is celebrated, can overcome limitations and have a victorious day fishing out on the water. The event is free of charge for the child and their family.
“My son has been asked to leave several different events because of his challenges and although I try and help him work through his sadness and explain it in a way that doesn’t tell him he is bad, but it really messes with his already low self-esteem. Neither of my kids have had an experience (at a C.A.S.T. for Kids event) that has such a noticeably positive impact in them. Both my kids came away with a humongous boost of confidence thanks to all the volunteers and sponsors. There aren’t enough words to express my gratitude to everyone who has changed my children’s lives in such an amazingly wonderful way. These two events emotionally fulfilled my kids’ lives in a way that I was unable to do for almost four years.” –Parent of Participant, Lake Shasta
You can play a vital part making a life-changing impact in special children’s lives. Would you consider being an event sponsor for the [DATE] at [LOCATION] to give kids with special needs a joyful day of fishing?
It does cost over $4,000 per event to take 40 kids fishing and outfit them with gear for a childhood filled with fishing fun!
We have different sponsorship packages (attached) that offer benefits and brand recognition to you as a sponsor. I’ve also included a flyer describing the event in more detail.
I’d be grateful for a reply within a week.
Thank you for your kind consideration,
[YOUR NAME]
Coordinator for the C.A.S.T. for Kids [EVENT NAME]
